Charlotte Baker co-founded Digital Hands; a cybersecurity company recognized as an award-winning pioneer in managed security services with 100% US-based delivery supporting enterprise clients. Under Baker's leadership, Digital Hands gained national recognition as a five-time Star Award Winner with the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) for Innovation in the Delivery of Managed Services, Complex Application Support, Customer Commitment, Integrated Services Excellence, and Innovation in Leveraging Analytics for Service Excellence. Digital Hands received the TSIA Star Award Hall of Fame 2018 for Lifetime Achievement for Outstanding Service.
Baker has been the recipient of numerous personal accolades over the years. She was named one of the Gulf Coast Business Review's "50 Most Powerful People on the Gulf Coast", awarded the "Lifetime Achievement Award" from eWomenNetwork, recognized by CEO Magazine with the "CEO of the Year" distinction, named Tampa Bay Business Journal's "Business Woman of the Year – Technology" and has been honored to be included in Florida Trends 2018, 2019 and 2020 as "Florida's Most Influential Business Leaders." Baker is a frequent guest speaker on building entrepreneurial companies, advocating women in technology, and new services development in the cybersecurity industry.
Currently, Baker serves on the advisory board for TSIA's Managed Services discipline, serves as an officer of the University of Tampa's Board of Trustees, and Chairman of the Tampa Bay Wave board. She has held various board and officer positions for WIPP (Women Impacting Public Policy), the Tampa Bay Technology Forum, The Children's Home Society, member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF.org) and recognized with a Stevie Award for her local community involvement. Baker earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Darden and a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with dual concentrations in MIS and Marketing from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.
